Notice how the writer sneaked in “Russian hackers...” As if it was a fact, a given. The insidiousness of these creeps is just beyond the pale. I watch for their little sneaky moves constantly and I’m pretty I miss a bunch. The low-information crowd just falls for it. Like a header. Into a cow-pie.

My first thought. Russians? When did they get dragged into this? Lol. There wasn't much credibility to begin with. Sadly there's lots of folks who believe it. 😜

That is called a presupposition and it is a technique used in NLP.
