The CIA is troublesome when its working within the US. An agency which spends time influencing governments in the rest of the world should not be trusted within our borders. We have the FBI for that.
The last time the CIA was accused of domestic spying, the left went bonkers. I remember the Congressional investigations and crucifixion of the agency. And until now, the left has NEVER unquestionably accepted a “condifidential” CIA report and paraded it around as gospel proof.
Of course, now that the CIA has become their political instrument, the left is OK with all that.
It's more than just "troublesome," it's illegal.
