My Brother used to carry his .22 Rifle to School back in the 50’s, and this was Long Island, NY.
Nobody panicked. When did we cross the line that just carrying a Gun made you a threat to Society?

Hell back in 54 in the Germantown section of Philly when I was 17 and my brother 15 we carried our shot gun two blocks to ride on the PTC --took the trolley to the end of the line and caught a bus out to the Ambler area and went hunting --and then returned
NO PROBLEMS
