Remember when the Electoral College was evil and needed to be abolished. Ten electors, including Nancy Pelosi's daughter, have a great new plan. And it doesn't take much reading between the lines.
Ten members of the Electoral College, including Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi’s daughter Christine and a former member of Congress, are demanding a briefing from U.S. intelligence officials on any ongoing investigations into Donald Trump’s ties to Russia.
In a letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, the electors — nine Democrats and one Republican — argue that they require the information ahead of Dec. 19, when the Electoral College is set to meet and select the next president.
Why exactly do the Electors require information that has nothing to do with their current function, which is representative, rather than deliberative? Because Pelosi argues they are a deliberative body.

More or less. If you voted for Trump, you really voted for a slate of Republican party hacks in your State to become Electors. If you voted for Clinton, you really voted for a slate of democRAT party hacks in your state to become Electors. If you voted for Jill Stein (etc.)
So Nasty Pelousy's spawn being a democRAT party Elector is no surprise, nor is it particularly a problem. She's a 'Rat party hack, elected to support the 'Rat party's candidate.

Considering that this is an open plot for the formation of a coup, I call for this “elector” to be tried for treason.

Pelosi Jr. may not realize it, but she is playing with fire. Part of me would like to see them do this. It would get us over with now with what will eventually happen.

Maybe I’m losing my memory but I don’t recall voting for the electors. If they claim the right to exercise their personal predilections in defiance of the state vote, then they should stand for election before the general public. Of course winner-take-all states like California would not permit that to happen but it seems only fair.
They gotta do it today because tomorrow the electors get safe harbor. But, given the loonie left's tendency to do everything at the last minute we have until midnight somewhere for these a$$hats to spring their next move.
If they only got 9 Democrats that’s pretty pathetic. You would think that at least 200 would be looking for a way to turn the election around. Rhoe one Republican is the same guy who has been in the news lately. If they can’t get more than than those 10, they are on Jill Stein territory.
