Yes! I modified the original coat so that it fits her better, but then I found a really nice one that is warmer and fits her perfectly.

So now she has TWO Coats.

It is getting so darn cold we may have to layer them.

Most of the time she walks without pulling, but every once in a while, for no apparent reason, she puts on the “doggie brakes”.

AND Nothing, absolutely NOTHING can move her when she does that.

Then, after what seems an eternity, she starts walking again.

Although she doesn’t so much “walk” as “prance”. People passing by even remark about it.

Howdy, PRO!

Hope your weekend’s been a good one. Any more snow piled up in your area?

Howdy, LUV.

Bummer you’ve caught a cold (hope it isn’t the flu!). :-(
Hope tomorrow finds you feeling a little better!

Howdy, Feather! *Hugz*

Been pretty cold here the past few days but today wasn’t too bad. Just really windy ahead of a system moving through tonight.

Looked awfully cold up your way this afternoon when I checked the pond cam. But it was very pretty with all that snow.

Yo radu!

No more new snow but the 6" we have isn't going anywhere soon as we're going to stay with sub-freezing temps for awhile. At least the main roads are plowed and clear.

I'll be dog-sitting again middle week as son and his Mom are flying down to SoCal to check out what son thinks is his next life destination.

Howz things with you?

Good evening, Pro...snow sticking around?

It’s a whole 1 degree here today, but sunny during daylight hours.

Glad you didn’t get more snow to contend with. You have enough already. Are you close to a main road so you don’t have to slip-slide your way in and out to dog-sit?

Things are ok here. Warmer today than it’s been but really windy. It’s still howling out there. Kittehs sitting in windowsills keep bumping the glass with their noses when they try to catch a leaf whizzing by. LOL!

Hi Kathy!

Our 6" of snow isn't going anywhere soon because of our long term sub-freezing temps.

Staying comfy though.

Howdy, Kathy.

Hope you didn’t have to go outside much this weekend. Your temps have been mighty cold when I’ve checked the Anchorage cams!!!
At least the snow you got the other day isn’t going anywhere any time soon. A little bit of a blanket for the pipes.

I have an all-wheel drive SUV so no slip-sliding for me.

The mountain passes can get scary though and I still intend to head there some time this month.

That helps a lot! Slip-sliding is NOT fun.
Just have to keep your eyes open for others who DO slip-slide. LOL

Reckon things will warm up enough that it won’t be such a hair-raising drive through the mountains?

Oh my goodness....you have had quite the weekend.

Glad you were able to have a good time where your nephews were performing. Did you get lost?

Quite the scare with your computer. So glad you were able to get it back in service.

Well, winter's not even upon us yet so I doubt the mountain passes will get better but at least the skiers love it, lots of snow!

They keep them pretty well plowed too and I'll just travel on a low traffic day.

I didn’t know if there might be one more warm spell before winter settles in but the way things are going, I think it’s already settled in. Yuck!

Just rain down here but I wish it would move on through. The high winds aren’t helping firefighters in the mountains who are still fighting some wildfires. They need the rain to help put those fires out.
