The family of Alyssa Wright wants to know what led the teenagers boyfriend to allegedly strangle her.
He was always a real well-mannered boy. I never had any problems with him, always been respectful, mother Melinda Wright told Channel 2 Action News on Friday.
Alyssa Wright was allegedly strangled Tuesday by Elijah William Ramoutar, 19, at his home on White Birch Drive in Covington, according to the Newton County Sheriffs Office.
Family told Channel 2 that the 19-year-old went to Ramoutars house Tuesday evening.
We were sitting on the bed, laughing, joking about things that were starting to look up for us, Melinda Wright said. She said, Bye. I love you. Ill be back.

Knew before I even looked.
Of course.
One possible clue to the motivation. On the website, the killer is described as an EX-boyfriend. Maybe he was one of those who could not handle rejection. Maybe it never happened to him before, and he was too lacking in brain development to deal with the disappointment without acting out violently.
Having your near-adult children go out on dates must be nerve wracking to some parents. It’s a gamble that eventually has to be taken. It’s almost a rite of passage. One just hopes that your child chooses wisely.
Big time
But it was the most polite strangling we have seen for ages!
Sounds like a dangerous move on her part, to revisit a jilted ex. Wonder if the circumstances were such as to give her a clue about the animosity it engendered in him?
We’ve seen a whole lot of the “mama’s boy” phenomenon among the “Amish.” I’d bet the fellow didn’t even have a papa in his life.
If a gal changes her mind on one of these extreme mama’s boys, that might indeed throw him out of his gourd.
Where are the men? They’ve become so lost in leftiness, that they don’t even know who they are.
And I’ve faced off just recently on FR with what appeared to be such an overbearing female parental femme. It was so distinct I wondered if I was arguing, not with a real person even, but with a caricature (on the internet, nobody knows you are a dog). “Ma’am, I do not have to tell you to go to hell. You’re eagerly running there, now.” Satan is behind this. If I could wring the devil’s neck I would, I have seen what damage such femmes can do, but the thing I can do is to glorify God in the devil’s face. That will render him verklempt, at least for a while.
...If Barack Hussein Obama had a son...
Maybe we were spared a lot by Barack having no son. Talk about mama’s boy.
You’re very perceptive. It’s true, that much can be either concealed or revealed by using the appropriate style of writing. When you encounter a flurry of stereotypic behavior followed by telegraphed reaction to whatever you say, one have to wonder at the source. Is the writer actually who they seem to be, or is this an act, someone trying to convince both me and themselves that yes, this is who they are?
Brings to mind an ancient pop song by Joe South called “The Games People Play” 1969.
When someone just popped into FR very recently it’s one thing, but when this is an ID (with a provocative sounding title) it could be a lurking troll intending to put on a persona when he/she thinks he/she has landed a perfect target.
Well, except that I tend to be an unsatisfying target, unless the person gets a buzz off of Christians telling them, in various subtle or unsubtle means, to go to hell.
Hey, the devil may have been waving at me through a troll rather than through an actually concerned person. But as far as I am concerned, it is the same devil in either case and I have the authority, as submitted servant of Christ, to tell him to go packing back to the hot place.
I mean, a fairly long standing ID
And yeah, thanks for reminding me of the “Games People Play.” There was the song by, who, Joe South? Then there was the pop-psychology book. “I’m OK, You’re OK.” The pop-psychology book, at least, managed to identify some dysfunctional ways of human interaction and counsel against them.
Christian theologians tended to bristle at “I’m OK, You’re OK” but I can see a Christian theology compliant variant that would work, something like “I’m OK” (because I have accepted the work of Christ) “and I hope that you will be OK too” (because the gospel is addressed to everybody). Just because one is a Christian and believes everybody needs salvation, doesn’t mean one has to go damning everybody one meets. Sometimes the positive suggestion, the “look for the Lord in this,” is the thing Jesus would do.
little side story attached to I’m OK book Back in the 70’s the company I worked with gave a day training seminar for one of the Chicago suburban Police Departments based on the book I’m ok/You’re ok. The cops thought it was a bunch of hooey and filed into the room with a visibly hostile attitude. It is not an easy thing to be in a room with hostile police offices. For some it was their day off and for others they had far more important work to get done. My partner opened up the session with, before we start perhaps we should clear the air. To which one cop yelled out,”I,ve gotta question, if this guy is so ok and we have to get ok like him, Why did he commit suicide last night?” True story.
The December 8 story uses terms like “ex-lover” and “formerly in a relationship.” I think motive is pretty clear.
Women who involve themselves with black males are exposed exponentially to both physical violence and sexually transmitted diseases. In other words, there is NO upside to having a black boyfriend, no matter what Hollywood tries to tell you.
Been noticing and seeing a lot of bi racial ads with hot white girls(never fat ugly red heads) with black guys in print and on TV.
When the media normalizes stuff pay close attention as they are trying to shove it down our throats.
Parents need to keep an eye on their daughters and step in big time when they don’t like who the girls are seeing.

Maybe this Mom at the link should have?
“I think motive is pretty clear.”
He wanted to spend the rest of his life in prison?
