Its will never happen. We need to work on voter picture ID will help much more than trying to do term limits. It take 2/3 of both houses to get that done and then goes to States and will need 38 0f 50 States to pass it. The State part I think could be done but not 2/3 of each house of Congress i.e. only when pigs fly. If we had picture ID it would stop lots of cheating and dead people voting, voting 2 time maybe and lots of illegals from voting. Convention of States will never got off ground either I done think. All Cruz is doing it fooling people as he has done before. Its called grand standing folks nothing else.

Your idea will help, but voter ID laws in any form does not address the real voter fraud and that is what takes place in the polls. Those working the polls can vote as much as they want, not enforce ID laws etc. Only way to stop voter fraud for a generation is to move all states to award electoral votes based on congressional district. It deflates the popular vote argument. Eliminates the big city effects on states, i.e. Philly in PA, Charlotte in NC, Chicago in ILL, etc. The other alternative is integrated voting machines throughout each state with a voter card, such as an atm card. It can only be used once during the election day or period. Of course that would have to be a national policy and the feds can’t dictate how the states award electors to the federal offices. Of course we don’t want the feds taking more control of the states. This could have been done after 2010, when Blue wall states of MI, WI, OH, PA all had R trifectas. Zero would not have won re-election if they had changed to awarding electoral votes by congressional district. We had the support here in PA, but the state GOP chair shot it down. The dude has been chair for 20 years and has never won PA for the republican, but shot it down because he felt it would reduce PA’s influence, IOW his clout if changed. Of course T winning PA had nothing to do with that bozo. Voter ID laws do have an effect by causing fraudsters to do less, but they are worthless if those working the polls do not enforce the photo requirement. You can’t vote in PA if your name is not registered in the book, so only by those polls, i.e. the 59 or so in Philly with 100%+ turnout, where the workers do not enforce the law or actually perpetrate the crime does this fraud take place.
