My observation is that liberal run businesses are the most slow and inefficient there are. There is a coffee shop near where I live, and it is run by a bunch of liberals (by appearance and what they have posted on their walls)
They are well staffed, have a boatload of people, but they simply cannot get out of their own way.
I cannot go in there anymore.
And if you asked them why, they’d give you a million excuses and not one good (or truthful) reason.
A limited menu of bread and water didn’t help.
I’ll have the Mao Burger with a Castro Shake. :)
They should do fundraisers like ETV. Throw a few Pol Pot lucks.
So instead of running it like Karl Marx they ran it like Groucho.
I am curious to know how they managed to open the business at all. Where did they get the necessary capital to open a restaurant in a strip mall. Did one of them come in to an inheritance or maybe they did some crowd funding?
Socialism in action.
If they decided to open up a business with a business model of their choosing, I see that as capitalism. It can succeed or fail, but they choose the business model themselves, not the government.
You will get your sammich faster at the point of a bayonet!!!
I wonder if they noticed that their name was taken from one of the most capitalistic movies ever made. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was done to squeeze every dollar out of the franchise.
They needed a Dicatotor with the drive to exploit and extort in the equation.
Old Chinese lesson. ... (Not)
Who could have guessed?
LOL! Epic. Fail.
20th Century Motors...
Sounds like the sandwich shop was a version of any Communist country on the planet. I bet if someone opened a ‘Free Market’ sandwich shop, it will succeed.
I went there several times....they had a painting on the wall of Reagan and Che sitting at the same table eating. But their prices kept getting higher and hours stranger.....and finally there was no help from OBAMA...WHICH IS WHAT REALLY KILLED THEM.
