This is an excellent article about the interrogation of terrorists and the lies by Obama, Feinstein and the media about attempts to gather information on future terrorist attacks.
The false narrative of torture etc. was meant to undermine legitimate attempts at gathering information to protect Americans.
Do we want to win or not?
I’m on chapter six. It’s just getting good. But this is an amazingly frightening book, more so because Fienstein is so intent on ruining the author.
Discussing this with some high school students whom I advise for a Constitutional Law class, most of the kids are opposed to the use of torture. But one kid spoke up and said:
“If you have a nuclear weapon ready to go off in New York City, and this guy knows where it is, you do whatever it takes for him to tell you.”
At least somebody has a sense of perspective.
I haven’t read his book - but I wanted him to attack directly the one big point that the left always makes - which is “EIT doesn’t work!”
What got the left so exercised about EITs is that information that should have remained secret until no longer relevant was elicited. The information itself was the problem, not the techniques. The Jihadists probably didn’t think such techniques should have been used, either, as it interfered with the performance of their Allah mandated responsibilities.
Keep on doing it
Saw Mitchell on Fox a few days ago. Serious and well informed guy.
Good time for a counterattack. I’d hate to think how this would go over if Hillary had won.
It was always a lie that rough interrogation doesn’t work. Even the Democrats’ so-called “Torture Report” doesn’t actually say that.
They wanted people to think otherwise so that if there was another 9/11, the media would say there was nothing Obama could have done.
Interrogation produced the lead identifying the courier that led to bin laden...
Biden leaked the info it was a local doctor who facilitated the DNA confirmation. That man is rotting in jail in pakistan and Biden is continuing to enjoy his clown act... despite revealing an asset...
Terrorists should get field interrogation and failure to reveal any useful info be executed.
The only real argument against torture is that, when facing “civilized” opponents, we should refrain from it or they won’t refrain from using it against our troops.
However, since we are not fighting civilized opponents anymore, that argument doesn’t even apply.
I hope this book totally exagerates the techniques and the sucess rate, AND I hope it totally scares the $H!T out of the diaper-heads.
a) Remove habeus protections for those captured overseas by US military or intelligence services;
b) in the UCMJ, explicitly strip unlawful combatants from any protections illicitly afforded them by the courts, so they can simply be placed before a drumhead court martial with no judicial review and executed.
Problem solved.
