Monica Petersen was in Haiti working for the Human Trafficking Center and also previously worked for the Colorado Human Trafficking Council’s Data & Research Task Force.
She died a few days ago under suspicious circumstances. Her friends on Facebook are looking for answers. Several close friends have made mentions on various FB posts that friends and family have no clear understanding of what happened to Monica except that she died on Sunday.
Earlier this year a FB friend of Monica re-shared a post by Monica where Monica linked to a blog post critical of Hillary Clinton’s dealings in Haiti!! Screenshot below. Monica said “This is the theory my masters thesis puts forth”! SHE WAS ONTO SOMETHING, very likely between now and then she found out about #PIZZAGATE! UPDATE 8: Close friend of Monica, /u/DominaElle confirmed in this thread that the family has not seen Monica’s body yet (and of course meaning no proper funeral/burial for Monica). She died a week ago and a memorial was held on Friday. This means no credible autopsy done yet in the US. Family is relying on information coming from Haiti. Why is the State Department not stepping in?

Also, Washington Post quoted her professor/boss Claude d’Estree (who previously worked for Dyncorp) saying Monica committed suicide. They also have quotes from a friend of Monica, Domina Elle. Well, the same Domina Elle was saying 2 weeks ago that Monica was murdered, possibly by her local boyfriend. Here is my conversation with her:
