The historic Michigan recount has been underway since Monday in a few counties, but it could end December 7 because of a state court of appeals ruling.
The next step: A hearing on the recount started at 10:30 a.m. in front of U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith. However, complicating matters, a federal appeals court issued a separate ruling refusing to block Goldsmith’s earlier ruling that the recount should start immediately. The judge now says he will make a ruling in the afternoon....
Will the recount continue? That’s unclear until the latest hearing, but Republicans trying to stop the recount won a big victory December 6 when a state Court of Appeals panel ruled that Stein didn’t have standing to seek the recount in the first place under Michigan law because she is not an “aggrieved party.” That’s because she only received 1 percent of the vote in Michigan, and a recount would still give her no chance of winning.
According to the Secretary of State, Stein received 51,000 votes out of 4.9 million ballots cast in Michigan and is alleging “fraud or mistake.”
The Detroit News said the state court ruling did not “explicitly” order the recount to stop, though, causing even some clerks to be confused about what’s going to happen next.
Confusing matters more, the federal court, on December 7, opted not to overturn the ruling that had previously allowed the recount to start. The Michigan Attorney General had sought to block the recount in federal court.

The longer he takes, the more likely he’s agonizing on how to win this for the democrats...

The 6th Circuit has warned this bozo and if he persists they will humiliate him.
There were also reports that as many as half of Detroit’s votes might be ineligible for the recount because, during the canvass, the polling lists didn’t match the machine printouts of totals in many precincts. Officials were hoping the actual ballots would match, and it was possible some machines had jammed, counting votes more than once.
Oops! Dems got caught with their hand in the cookie jar stuffing ballot boxes. If there's a story here it's simply that Trump was right when he said the election was being fixed.
The mistake the left made is that they grossly underestimated by what margin they needed to cheat.
I hay no doubt he’s not going to stop the recount. He originally said the decision would come this afternoon. He’s trying to create a legal means to ignore Mi court ruling, count on it. If he was going to stop the recount he would have by now. I hope our side is prepared for it because they should have known what an Obama hack would do.
I don't think he wants to be known as the Democrat judge who drove the stake through the heart of Hillary's last pathetic, dying hope. My guess is some time after Wisconsin finishes.
(If Detroit is as FUBAR as it is rumored to be, that might not be all that bad a thing. Proof of massive incompetence and vote fraud would be a nice addition to a Trump win. Hopefully, Michigan will sue Stein to recapture the costs of the recount.)

Just in: 6th Circuit says no to MI GOP request for entire bench review of order “inventing constitutional right to a (Jill Stein) recount.”
Yes, he probably is part of delaying plan. But he’s got to come out with something that resembles a ruling soon..right? Maybe he waits until after midnight like his other one. The saying goes nothing good happens after midnight.
