On Nov. 26, two Chinese Xian H-6 bombers, along with two escort planes, a Tupolev Tu-154 and Shaanxi Y-8, flew around the island of Taiwan from mainland China, taking off and landing from two separate Chinese military bases.

The escort jets were used to collect radar information and conduct other surveillance on American allies such as Japan, Fox News is told. The Chinese bombers stayed in international airspace, according to officials.

Which way is the prevailing wind? Would those winds carry radiation back to the mainland?

The Xian H-6 bombers are essentially the license built version of the Tupolev Tu-16. Whether the planes are the highly-modernized H-6K or H-6M models are still unknown.

Why is it that those who claim an area, constantly threaten to destroy the same area that they claim?

China threatens Taiwan with nuclear weapons, yet claims the area as it own.

The Muslims and the world trust that Israel will act humanly when responding to their attacks, yet call for it destruction, and teach their young children nothing but hate.

What good to China is a radioactive blasted island?

What good is Jerusalem to the Muslims, if they destroy it with nuclear weapons, as one of the Palestinian leaders recently asked Pakistan to do.

It is nothing but hate out of the pit of hell.

The PRC had the last 8 years to invade without significant repercussions from the US but it still would have been costly as the ROC can defend itself well. It’s too late for that now. They’ll have to figure out some other way to take over Taiwan without Trump catching on, or just back the hell off for now and wait longer. New ball game.

Operation Chrome Dome was a United States Air Force Cold-War era mission from 1960 to 1968 in which B-52 Stratofortress strategic bomber aircraft armed with thermonuclear weapons remained on continuous airborne alert, flying routes to points on the Soviet Union border.

The missions in 1964 involved a B-52D that left Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas and flew across the United States to New England and headed out to the Atlantic Ocean. The aircraft refueled over the Atlantic heading north to and around Newfoundland. The bomber changed course and flew northwesterly over Baffin Bay towards Thule Air Base, Greenland. At this point it flew west across Queen Elizabeth Islands of Canada. Continuing to Alaska, it refueled over the Pacific Ocean again heading south-east and returned to Sheppard AFB.[5]

By 1966, three separate missions were being flown - one East over the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, another north to Baffin Bay, and a third over Alaska.

China is not our friend—this Demonstration proves this. I do not think they are wise to challenge Trump—he will make an example out of them.

With all the cash that the Taiwanese send every year to relatives on the mainland, it’s pretty doubtful the Chinese swaggerers will lift a finger.

I suppose we had to do something like that until our undersea deterrent was ready.

The tiny A-4 Skyhawk was a "nuclear capable bomber".

(BTW, that's a fuel tank on the center weapons station, not a nuclear weapon)

All the articles about this phone call always make it appear as though Trump made the phone call .. TAIWAN CALLED TRUMP .. All Trump did was answer the phone.

Trump did NOT make the call. The Democratically elected leader of Taiwan made the phone call to Trump.

Lord, and to think we used to load those bombs by hand.
That photo was taken about six months before I got there.

Our pilots would drop landing gear in order to
slow down and get low, have seen them come back
with limbs and leaves in the wheel wells.

Glad you made it back to the world.
