This writer insinuates Congress is moving to stop Trump from following through with illegal alien enforcement and border security.
I don’t see Congress as having much to do other that reauthorize funding or taxes for constructing the wall.
The laws for illegal alien roundup and deportation are already on the books. The border wall construction is already authorized from the Bush 43 years but was never followed through on.
So it won’t be the laws that President Trump needs so much as the new tariffs and taxes to pay for the wall. And the taxes won’t be borne on the backs of American taxpayers as it will be by excise taxes on foreigners without a work visa who wire money transfer remittances to Mexico and Central America.
So President Trump needs tariff and excise tax authority for those purposes. If RINO Ryan in Congress won’t follow through with that mandate given President Trump by the American people, I may personally travel to Wisconsin to meet with Paul Nehlen on how to get rid of this SOB in 2018. I believe another run by Nehlen in 2018 should be done regardless.
Hostage,
The laws are on the books. But who is enforcing them. Some states, especially California, has called themselves a safe haven for them, thus defying the laws and the Constitution already. Anything happen to them?
For the next four years, any action from congress trying to subvert those laws will not make it past Trump, I hope. And they can’t be selective in what laws they will follow and what they don’t like. If they do, they are violating their oath of office by not preserving and protecting the Constitution. Impeach and remove.
