Some of Obama’s pardons may have more to do with covering up his own guilt as much as it does with pardoning other people. For example, an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal would expose Obama as knowingly and willfully abetting her actions.

Agreed. For political expediency, I hope B. Hussein Obama pardons Hillary Crinton. This would give Trump and company much needed cover while he goes after the crimes with the Crinton Foundation. For justice, I hope they all go to jail.
