Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Congress will act early next year to repeal President Barack Obamas health care law but delay the changes as Republicans try to come up with an alternative. [ ]
Speaking in Louisville, McConnell cautioned that the laws critics cant just snap your fingers and go from where we are today to where were headed. He said a replacement to the health care law will be done in a phased-in way.

Oh, he’s some kind of leader all right, but he wants to lead in left-wing politics.
Depends on what they mean by “replacement”. It’s not like there was nothing before the ACA, after all.
Most hospitals have less than 60 days cash on hand. Many have less than 30.
Most hospitals have zero to 0.5% margin (revenue/expense). An immediate end to Obamacare would mean a surge in uninsured (non-paying) customers of 15-25%. The insurance cash flow from Obamacare has kept lots of hospitals afloat.
Obamacare has hollowed out and then destroyed what existed before.
Aw, shaddup and get out of the way, you useless consumer of oxygen and space!!
So removal of the ACA will not also remove the artificial low revenue to expense margin?
...you'll never be re-elected.
McConnell is just a swamp rat!
Immediate removal (which is what we are discussing) will crash revenue while expense continues to surge.
McTurtle needs to switch parties.
He and Romney should team up with Larson and Weld.
And just how? Socialism is not a one-way street; it is reversible.
You can’t grill it ... until you kill it!
Mitch “turtle face” Mcdumbo is senile, and suffering from dementia. This man should be removed as leader. His only interest is money and power, the hallmarks Of corruption.
The underlying philosophy of the New Republicanism, said Mr. Larson, is that if a job has to be done to meet the needs of the people, and no one else can do it, then it is the proper function of the federal government. P. 15 [ ]So that kind of thinking was entrenched in the GOP certainly going back six decades.
Mr. Larson devotes a good deal of space to the question of States Rights. He contends that while there is a general presumption in favor of States Rights, thanks to the Tenth Amendment, this presumption must give way whenever it appears to the federal authorities that the States are not responding satisfactorily to the needs of the people. This is a paraphrase of his position but not, I think, an unjust one. And if this approach appears to be a high-handed way of dealing with an explicit constitutional provision, Mr. Larson justifies the argument by summoning the concept that for every right there is a corresponding duty. When we speak of States Rights, he writes, we should never forget to add that there go with those rights the corresponding States responsibilities. Therefore, he concludes, if the States fail to do their duty, they have only themselves to blame when the federal government intervenes. P. 28
The D’s managed to put this POS law into effect almost overnight. A law that is so thick that nobody on Capital Hill even bothered to read it, as Nancy Pelosi acknowledged.
It does not take any longer to repeal it, Senator. you should be able to write a once sentence bill to repeal it in about...say...fifteen seconds?
Get off your butt, stop stalling and screwing around, and start doing your job, Senator.
Thank you.
Sure you can. Just pass it then we’ll see what’s in it!
Just define a good, better, best insurance policy minimum coverage. Allow insurance companies to write within these standards with a la carte upgrades, make it nationwide like auto insurance, let the customer (patient) OWN their policy like auto/home insurance (no more preferred pools to interfere with hiring), create state subsidized “high risk” pools using the high risk auto insurance model with all companies sharing the underwriting along with gov for those with catastrophic needs.
Let the market place work, I guarantee the insurance companies have contingency policies that can be delivered to the public within hours of killing Obamacare. Time for McConnel/Ryan to put on their big boy pants and man up as representatives of the people (statesmen) instead of establishment stooges!
The Dems snapped their fingers and voilà, Obamacare
Not true.
The worst parts of Obamacare did not take effect until after the 2014 elections (four and a half years after it passed), and some of it doesn’t go into effect until 2018.
If Obamacare were repealed with immediate effect, 2/3 of the hospitals in America would close within 90 days.
It is not going to happen that way. >>> i would like to know why hospitals would close in 90 days. do you have some inside knowledge>
Elaine Chao sleeps with a lazy old RINO turtle.
Turtle hasn’t accomplished Sh!t in his lifetime.
McConnell regards RINOism as his job. No RINO regards the people of the USA as sovereign.
Sure he’s accomplished stuff. Just all bad stuff. Going back to the Reagan years, he was a committed RINO too.
