[From October 20, 2016]'It’s become terrible around here': MIGRANTS call for Merkel to deport MIGRAN

GERMAN migrants are hitting out at Angela Merkel's open door immigration policy and the influx of NEW migrants saying it has wrecked their standard of living.

And the shocking comments show the scale of resentment brewing in the country as its tries to cope with an influx of millions of people.

Last year Germany welcomed 1.1 million people alone but millions more have flooded into the country over the past five years.

Now foreign nationals who have lived in the country have expressed their concerns about the impact it is having on their standard of living.

One woman who identified herself as a National Democratic Party voter said: “Today’s refugees get social housing, welfare payments. And this, and that, and this. Why?

“I’m a foreigner myself.”

While another woman who wore a bright hijab said: “It’s become a little… terrible around here. Not like it used to be.”

”Too many people came to Neukölln. When they come they have to earn a living.

"They have to give something else — don’t give them our apartments for example.

"Don’t give them our jobs."

I’m sorry to hear that...I’ve read reports of people in Germany getting called into court for criticizing the migrants and Merkel locking down Facebook comments that are anti-immigrant. Really sad, people just put their heads in the sand while society collapses.

“........They are heading over for free stuff. They are bringing their tribalism and violence with them.”........

Note any similarities?

The Turks came over first

I was there in ‘85 when they were first coming in. Germans were very skeptical the time if it would work.

But I think you nailed it. Muslims are not just one culture.

I'm not sure we actually disagree on literally what you said, and it wasn't my intention to disagree literally.

Is blackness and/or African-ness the causal factor, or is 'black and African' enough to bound the group? No ... but ... if as you revealed you live/lived there or near there ... I bet your being local would make that a likely way to phrase it ... so no problem withdrawing my push back on what you were saying, I suspect it's a normal way to distinguish between groups of Muslims in the region ... and I'd guess someone not from the region (like me) would naturally say 'African Muslims'. I take no PC exception to using 'black.'

Less specifically, I agree that the real important point is that even if you were 100% wrong, and it were in fact white Canadians that were the problem, the reality that it is a literal crime in many places and a social crime almost anywhere in the west to merely use 'black' and 'African' to describe a group with negative connotations is a nightmare on the planet Orwell.
