Donald Trump campaigned on a big promise: he would secure our border and confront the illegal immigration crisis head-on.
A lot of people doubted him. And why not? Politicians have been promising to do this for years, and they have let Americans down every single time.
Thats all about to change. Starting next month, the people are going to get what they asked for.
We are going to build the wall. Period. In the process, I pledge to stand side-by-side with the Trump administration to throw out Obamas reckless immigration policies and start enforcing our nations laws.
In fact, we are already starting to work on an emergency plan in Congress to build the tough barriers we need along the border, close all gaps, and defend this countrys sovereignty.
But we are talking about more than just a wall. We are talking about a historic, multi-layered defense system so that drug cartels and terrorists cannot simply slip through the cracks.
This means more border patrol agents, new authorities, aerial surveillance, sensors, and other technology to make sure we seal our territory from illegals for good.
We will take a military-style approach by giving our border and immigration agencies the real command-and-control they need to make it happen...

Rep. McCaul has been one of those politicians.
I believe Donald Trump.
I am still skeptical of McCaul.
I knew it had to happen. We could not survive as a nation without it.
We need to work hard to make sure those controls are not used to take away more freedom from citizens.
If we build the wall, it will be harder to enter our country and fewer people will be able to come illegally. If we enforce immigration law and deport illegals, including those who overstay visas, there will be less incentive to come, and fewer illegals will come. If we prosecute employers who knowingly hire illegals, making it more expensive to hire them than legal residents, there will be less profit in coming here illegally and fewer will come.
Fix our immigration system, and few will bother coming illegally for work or even for crime. At that point, with only small numbers crossing, we’ll be able to stop terrorists at the border because we won’t be overwhelmed by sheer numbers.
What about the jobs that illegals currently do? (1) Employers can pay more until they find a rate that will attract Americans, or (2) employers can go through the process to legally hire foreigners. Tolerating crime should not be national policy.
We had a system during World War II for Mexicans to come here and pick crops and other jobs. We can do that again.

If you notice they are only talking about deporting criminal illegal aliens, meaning they have been convicted here of other crimes.
I hope we deport other illegal aliens before they have a chance to rape or kill Americans and not wait until they have committed other crimes.
A payment plan ... like Fingerhut!
Maybe we can let the Mexicans have advertising facing their side to help pay for it.
I also hear that The Predator will also be hired to clean up the border. Here’s a preview of what Illegal Aliens v. Predator might look like:

I think the deportation of criminal criminals is only phase 1.
As long as able bodied folks are on welfare let them take the place of the wage slaves. Left wing acquaintances always loved to say that most welfare recipients were white and I say great, put them to work.

Lack of employment opportunities and denial of all government funded benefits are the keys IMO. It will only take the imprisonment of a few CEO’s to take care of many employment opportunities. Denial of any benefits to children whose biological parents were not born in the United States or are not U.S. citizens could immediately take effect. Then the next groups to tackle are those citizens who are able to but do not work and instead live off of government funded programs.
I get a check every month for being a 100% disabled veteran and I’m white. Should I be handed a shovel?
I hope so, but I’m not convinced that they won’t try for another amnesty.
Solution to areas incompatible with continuous hard barrier construction, ie. "environmental concerns" animal migration etc.
Construct a two story concrete block house.
Climate controlled living/cooking/showers upstairs, 5 bay garage, shop and holding cells downstairs.
Construct a paved covered carport along the back (away from the border) with four ready ATVs equipped with a mounted M249.
All agents staffing the blockhouses are issued M4s and Glock 21s.
On the (flat) roof of the building have continuous observation and defensive positions around all sides.
A 30 foot tower on top of each blockhouse for HD, FLIR cameras, communications and cell antennas.
HD optical zoom cameras controlled and connected to PCs in the living quarters running motion detecting software.
FLIR cameras are likewise controlled and connected to displays on large screens for constant observation.
Have vibration and magnetic detection sensors distributed to the front and between each blockhouse that will alert the detection position in the controlling PCs.
Link all blockhouses with TSOA, TIGR or SUDA like data sharing so any single blockhouse outage will not affect the links with the other blockhouses across the border.
Construct one blockhouse every half mile in all areas incompatible with hard barrier construction along the border.
If a particular area becomes overwhelmed with too many crossing attempts, begin hard barrier construction between the blockhouses. Open areas are only allowed directly next to the blockhouse that are closed with barrier gates.
Continue the hard barrier construction between the blockhouses until the problem area is under control.
This system will allow total control of the border as there will be no location further than 1/4 mile from a blockhouse.

I listen carefully, and I have noticed that. I'm okay with starting by deporting all newly arrived illegals and all criminals, followed by those on welfare. After that, it will get harder. We need a proposal with enough public appeal and either logic or compassion to sell.
That's why I like President Trump's idea of touchback amnesty. Make illegals all go home to get legal status, with no guarantee that it will be granted. Then those who learned English, who worked productively without any criminal record, and who never used welfare could be given an advantage when applying for legal entry. Conversely, anyone who had to be deported should automatically be barred from legal entry forever. That carrot and stick combination should be enough for them to self-deport.
There really would be a demand for foreign workers if we got rid of the illegals, so the offer of an advantage for legal reentry would not be an empty promise. We could also finally have room for legal immigrants who play by the rules and waited far too long for approval. I don't want to replace every illegal who leaves, but I do want a functional legal immigration system so that the next corrupt democrat in our White House cannot open the floodgates for illegals so easily. I want Congress to decide on the numbers for foreign workers and for immigration.
Are you able bodied?
I can barely walk and no longer drive. I have a nurse come in three times a week. You don’t get 100% from the VA if you’re able bodied. They also classify me as “totally & permanently disabled” and “housebound.”
Damn. Thank you for your service. I guess that answered my question.
“Next Wednesday, December 7, I will deliver my annual State of Homeland Security Address at the Heritage Foundation and discuss these policies in more detail.”
He laid out a nice broad series of policies and programs, and apparently, more are to come on the 7th.
How about rescinding the the birth right citizenship loophole as well?
