For the past couple summers I’ve grown my own spices in large pots. I have fresh mint that comes up in the Spring every year. Have you ever had watermelon, with chopped mint and crumbled feta cheese as “starter” for your guests?

The basil does well too, and you can store it in the freezer or dry it. I have dryer that works great.

I think if I had the space I’d love to have a spice garden outside of my kitchen.

Have to say no I haven’t. While I enjoy cooking and eating delicious food, I don’t have the time nor money to dive deep into that. My herbs & spices are limited to basic needs. I’m sure when I get closer to retirement, I will expand my horizons in the culinary world. For me right now, basics are all I need.
