It’s been awhile since I’ve had a nicely burnt marshmallow. I turn them slowly over the fire, not letting them catch fire, until they turn brown on the outside and gooey on the inside.
I like marshmallows stale and chewy, too.
Once I left a package of Peeps in my car during the day. When I got off work, my car smelled strongly of Peeps. The Peeps themselves were deliciously completely gooey on the inside, with a nice sugar crust... so good, I ate the whole package!
Okay, I admit it—I have a thing about marshmallows.
Stale peeps are the only way to eat peeps.
I’m surprised they don’t sell them that way. :>)
