The first THANK YOU rally last night in Cinti revealed another packed house of enthusiastic Americans supporting Donald J. Trump as he reviewed the election, shared more of his vision and made on appointment announcement (that is a secret) of Mad Dog Mattis. We are all anticipating this week will reveal the new SOS plus other key announcements.

I mentioned in one of my posts a week or two ago that I didn’t think the Trumps had a dog, but there is normally a WH dog, so wondered if they would get one. Saw a thread from this morning that they might. A friend of Trump’s showed the picture of a puppy she wanted him to have to Trump and Barron over Thanksgiving (apparently Barron got a big smile on his face). She named the dog Patton :-)
One of my friends had a labordoodle and it was such an adorable and good dog. This is a goldendoodle (retriever and poodle). Would be fun if Santa brought Patton to Barron for Christmas :-)

Why should I be surprised? It *is* the shortcut from the backyard to the front!
Not saying the election wasn't certified, or that a list of electors wasn't sent, but those two events don't conclusively determine the electoral vote.
Certification is a necessary precondition for recount, and simply signals a point in the process. If the margin is big enough, certification is effectively the end of the process, so we are conditioned to think of certification as conclusive even though it is not.
As for communications with the National Archive, See a timeline of key dates.
If a recount after certification were to change the outcome, which would change the list of electors, Congress would have one set of electoral ballots and presumably two sets of "Certificates of Ascertainment." I'd have to research to see how that might be handled, and I don't think such an event has ever happened.
