Yep. On the West Bank in the Algiers area.
From TMZ:
“Law enforcement says Gasser is currently detained and being questioned about why he shot the 28-year-old football star.
At this point, he has NOT been formally arrested.
Cops say Gasser stayed at the scene of the shooting until cops arrived. Once law enforcement got to the scene, he handed over his gun without further incident. “
No other gun has been found. They were standing in the middle of a street arguing when Gasser fired his gun twice. A witness claims Gasser said,”You ain’t going to do that again” before firing. I don’t know how credible that is, but that kind of action contrasts with him waiting for the cops.
We need more info to see if this guy was a psycho or felt threatened.
Nothing unusual for the West Bank. The unusual/bad thing is that the shooter was white. Black on black shootings are a daily occurrence. This is a big deal because the shooter is white AND the victims football association. There are some really unbalanced people driving the roads.
No kidding. The Stank Bank has been on a huge decline since Katrina. It seems like when all of the criminals came back to NOLA, they immigrated there.
I lived there for 10 years... folks there are like Marines ... no better friend, no worse enemy... we had a very quiet neighborhood
