HARRISBURG - The Green Party-backed push for a recount of Pennsylvania's presidential election results will get its day in court.
Commonwealth Court on Tuesday scheduled a hearing for early next week to consider the recount effort pushed by former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein. The hearing will be 10 a.m. Monday in Harrisburg.
Stein has raised upwards of $6 million to finance recount efforts in the three key states - Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan - that sealed President-elect Donald J. Trump's victory over Hillary Clinton.
Clinton lost by less than 100,000 votes in all three states, which have a history of backing Democrats.
Republicans have decried the effort as an act of desperation by a failed campaign. They have also promised to challenge any recount efforts. Applications to intervene must be entered by Friday.
Besides the state court petition, Stein's campaign is also helping organize recount efforts at the precinct level in at least a half dozen counties across the state.

Trump’s lawyer should play the video of Obama telling illegals to go vote.
Ask that all illegal votes be tossed out while they recount.
Stein is a bitch.
By not destroying and exposing her as a fraud, and removing the pressure of the scrutiny they so often give any GOP candidate asking for recounts, the media are a bunch of bitches as well.
Why wait till Monday??? Crush her tomorrow.
How much you want to bet they found a liberal supporting Hitlery blood sucking judge!!
“Besides the state court petition, Stein’s campaign is also helping organize recount efforts at the precinct level in at least a half dozen counties across the state.”
Seems like she is getting what she wants so far and more. She
has been effective in stopping the certification for PA yesterday. Today: “PITTSBURGH - The Allegheny County Board of Elections announced it will recanvass 52 voting districts before certifying the results of the November election.
Elections Division staff will check election-night voting machine results tapes against flash memory cards.
The recanvass will take place on Monday, Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. in the County Office Building. Any candidate who ran in the presidential or Senate elections may be present or send an attorney on his or her behalf.”
Not to mention she just wired the money for the WI recount which I am sure she will also set up a court case for a total handcount .
I do not think this sounds good.
While she isn’t getting a hand recount, as far as I know, in Wisconsin, a township in Oneida County did make an error in tabulation on election night and has recounted. Trump GAINED 440 votes. I believe the township has a total of under 800 votes.
Its all horse crap. The drop dead date is Dec 13th when all states must report their vote totals. So they must finish by the 12th.
I just hope that this all hasn’t been a set up starting with them screaming Russia hacked emails, Russia trying to control the election, linking Trump to Russia; then the question about accepting election results to Trump in last debate. To now, Stein raising money for recounts, court hearings. I pray that this all isn’t a Plan B and C if Hillary lost.
It is, and I give it a better then 50/50 chance of working. Hillary could be the one getting sworn in January 20... and that would REALLY suck big time.
The deadline has passed for a precinct by precinct voter initiated recount, but there is still a legal provision for a court petition contesting the election on the basis that there was fraud. That’s what the hearing on Monday is about. Stein has to present convincing evidence that there was fraud. She doesn’t have any.
Umm are Trump or RNC lawyers anywhere to be found?? None of this should even be happening!! NIP IT IN THE BUD!!!!
PA GOP Statement on Election Contest Lawsuit
November 28, 2016

HARRISBURG Republican Party of Pennsylvania Chairman Rob Gleason released the following statement regarding Green Party candidate Jill Steins election contest lawsuit in Pennsylvania.
Today an Election Contest petition was filed in Commonwealth Court by supporters of Jill Stein seeking to challenge the victory of Donald Trump in the election for President in Pennsylvania this year, Gleason said. Our General Counsel has reviewed the Election Contest and said it is totally and completely without any merit. It does not even allege any facts to support its wild claim that the discontinuity of pre-election polls reported by the media showing that Hillary Clinton would win and the actual results could only have occurred through computer hacking originated by a foreign government.
This desperate act by Jill Stein and those supporting her is a sad commentary on the failure of some to accept the results of the will of the people as reflected by their votes.
Clinton is joining a lawsuit with Stein for a full hand recount in WI:
“Hillary Clinton’s attorneys filed a motion Tuesday seeking to join the lawsuit, arguing the recount could affect her. They also filed a memo supporting the push for a hand recount, saying that method is the most transparent for the public and will ensure the most accurate results.”

Yep, we keep gloating and thinking it’s just a matter of time before Trump is sworn in, the other side is working day and night, making steady progress.
Expect the following very soon - Merrick Garland will be recess-appointed to the Supreme Court, so as to give Hillary her 5th vote.
The battle will be in the House. The Constitution gives the House the final say as to who takes office, not the Supreme Court. It will get ugly, very ugly.
But one thing the plotters don’t understand is that many on our side won’t just walk away and say ‘aw shucks’...so I’d suggest we stock up and be prepared for some bad times. Socialists don’t like losing power and these people are not about to let a silly election stop them.
50 million with guns in DC says otherwise.
too many people still around that remember 2000......they won’t let it happen again
