I’ve said it before, the difference between now and the campaign is that during the campaign we were constantly hearing from Trump so it was easy to know when the media was talking crap because Trump and his team were there to trash it every step of the way. Right now, we basically have the media’s viewpoint so we really don’t know anything. We just have to trust that Trump remains Trump (which he did during the campaign under immense pressure)
I appreciate your astute and timely reminder that Trump, who now has his days dominated with really big decisions, is not talking directly to us as much as he did during multiple campaign stops per day. I will confess even as a day-one Trump supporter who faced criticism from friends & family alike for my support of him that I’ve so quickly fallen prey to media-induced nervousness about Romney and the like. Your comment is a good reminder that the same guy who survived cage match after cage match with candidates, party leaders, Soros, and the media has the gumption to stay the course.
