Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag - if they do, there must be consequences

I understand and respect the citizenship's right of free speech... but with limits such as yelling "fire" in a crowded theater. There should be repercussions for citizens who freely choose to make a choice of burning the US flag... if you are receiving Federal/state funds... then you should be fined as per the flag burning statue quoted in this thread.

And there is nothing in the SC's decision of free speech rights for "illegal" immigrants. If convicted of burning the flag, they should be deported to their origin as soon as possible with no possibility of US citizenship for life.

Yelling “fire” in a theater does not qualify as political dissent without fear of government retribution. It qualifies as stupid.
