Looks like Tulsi Gabbard is falling down the Leftist Rabbit Hole. She is believing her own press that what she thinks about any situation is vitally important because she is uniquely important and qualified. She is the indispensable voice of her generation, etc.
As Charles DeGaulle said, “The graveyards are full of indispensable men”.
It is good to see that she is squandering her goodwill as a supposed centrist and a military veteran in this idiotic cause. She might have been a formidable opponent.
I wonder how much Tim Steyer is paying her?
How ever much it is, it isn’t enough. This was her moment, and she is frittering it away on a cause that absolutely nobody who isn’t getting paid gives a damn about.
This is a very good thing.
The Lefties are desperate, because Winter is coming. The protesters and the news cameras are going to go home, but the hard men who build things are going to keep working in the cold. There will be acompleted crossing in the Spring, when the snow melts and the hippies take the Microbus off trickle charge and head back up to the Res. They have to stop this thing now. It is now or never.
Either that or they will have to find some other uniquely important and sacred site a couple hundred miles down the line on which to make a stand. You can be certain nobody amongst the paid protesters or the media will give a damn that it is all made up BS.
