That’s what I thought, all I care about is he gets us out of being extorted!
+1
“Trump seems ready to fight the world on climate change. But he’s likely to meet resistance...”
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
My, this Halper dude is a real “master of the obvious,” isn’t he?
The LA Times chose’s a racist term to describe Trumps actions.
“He has talked frequently about reneging............”
David Doniger = enviro Nazi.
The Dems spent $16 billion in the last 8 years to find some hint of evidence of global warming.
Nada.
Donald Trump = Honey Badger
Honey Badger don’t care!
“Nope. Executive order. Trump can negate it in 30 seconds. Stroke of the pen, law of the land. Pretty cool.”
I knew that the idiot libs would pay someday for that overreach. I had no idea the payback would be so soon and so sudden.
All he has to do is say:
1. We shall approach this issue using sound science and take politics out of the equation.
2. Stress the importance for China, India, Brazil, Russia, Indonesia, Iran, Nigeria, and the rest of the world to do their part too on using sound science and handling this matter fairly for all countries and not treat any country more/less fairly than the others. Remind the world and Congress of the importance that any/all international agreements needing 2/3rds support in the Senate to be valid.
3. I want the earth to be safe for human inhabitation for our grandchildren and their grandchildren. Thus if the scientists discover areas where the Constitution may need amendments to grant Congress additional powers beyond their enumerated limits then they should work with Congress to accomplish this.
And then have his team do their jobs.
No, they did not. Obama signed it alone, calling it an “accord”. For the LA times to refer to it as a “treaty” is therefore a lie (no surprise there).
Obama circumvented the “advise and consent” clause, and for that reason alone Trump is fully justified in abrogating it. However, i think a better tactic would be for him actually to submit it to the Senate, and watch it get voted down. A triumph for both common sense and the Constitution.
Man-Made Climate Change scam for later.....
Trump will do, what no other politician has done on this subject, ie put it into economic terms, which will be easy to explain to the public.
You want to control our carbon emissions to the point that they are zero? That’s fine, but it will cost us as a nation dearly to the point that our companies will suffer greatly.
There’s a balance. I’m optimistic, that our country will have the cleanest waters and skies on earth, without gov’t reg.
Iowa when to Cruz, he should say, “sorry, no more.”
Brother, I agree but please note the word is “Anthropogenic”, meaning: ‘created by man’
There is no reason AT ALL to reduce CO2 emissions.
In fact we should INCREASE CO2 emissions.
If we burnt every gram of fossil fuel on earth and tripled atmospheric CO2, this would increase the temperature by maybe 0.8 degree C. Which I am struggling to see the downside of.
More importantly all plants on earth are gasping for breath. They evolved to need 1000 ppm CO2, and they're currently not getting half of that. More CO2 means the earth will get greener, and crop yields will go through the roof.
And most important of all: 2 million people a year die due to the effects of long-term smoke inhalation. They are cooking their food using dung or wood fires in poorly ventilated huts. It would not be so very difficult to provide them with coal-based electricity.
By putting barriers in the way of the 3rd world moving to coal-based electricity generation, the oh-so-compassionate left are committing genocide.
(I can't stick around on this thread, too much to do, agh)
If Trump wavers one iota on this, I’ll be very upset.
You want to reduce CO2 grow more plants.
Stop the Federal Government from funding any “global warming” related venture and all resistance goes away.
Man Made Global Warming is just another wealth distribution scheme from the American taxpayers to the rich elite.
No it did not.
LOL! He doesn’t have to “fight the world”. All he needs to do is to turn off the US money spigots. The rest of the world can do whatever they want to do with their money.
