I belong to Amazons’ $10 @ month all you can read club/whatever and read some of the reviews the night they were running about 89% one-star.
A lot of the on-star comments mentioned specific parts of the book and pointed out the weaknesses and why they thought they book was bad.
OK, a lot of the reviews were trolling but a lot of people read it and thought it stunk up the joint. If I got snookered by misleading reviews I would demand my money back.
Just sayin’
Interesting. Wasn’t aware of the Amazon club you mentioned. But then I rarely visit Amazon. Only time I have to read for pleasure is when we are going out of town for a few days. Read a lot - but it’s stuff related to insurance, new tax rules, etc. We’re going to be gone for three weeks beginning mid-December so will hit The Half Price Book Store sometime this week. Always get one of my clients a history book about past presidents and so rely on Amazon reviews before I make a final selection.
My son has a Kindle and has two or three things going all the time. For Christmas one of his gifts is an Amazon gift card which doesn’t take him long to use up.
I can’t imagine Kelly writing anything I would EVER want to read although I did look at the comments before they were edited.
Merry Christmas.
