President-elect Donald Trump and President Barack Obama have been in regular communication, a top Trump aide said Sunday. Asked on NBC's "Meet the Press" about who Trump was consulting on Cuba policy, senior adviser Kellyanne Conway replied: "He's even been talking to President Obama. You know, beyond the sit-down they had 30 hours or so after President-Elect Trump won the election, they've been talking regularly on any number of issues. They talked just yesterday." Conway said they spoke for about 45 minutes Saturday, but declined to say what else they talked about. Trump enjoys talking with Obama, despite their disagreements, she said.

STAY STRONG DONALD!!!
I believe Obama is more susceptible to being influenced by Trump than vice-versa.
No way!! Obama is a true believer in MARXISM!!
I never refer to former junior US Senator Barack Hussein by any higher title than the one (I assume) he earned through Chicago-way dirty tricks in his adopted home state in his adopted country. Similarly, I never refer to President Donald Trump by any title less exalted than the one he earned on Election Day. Having a real president for the next eight years will be glorious.
To the extent that President Trump talks with the former junior US Senator, I hope that Trump is trying to learn from Barack Hussein’s many errors and not actually taking advice that he will follow. The best advice is to, as much as possible, erase all evidence that the usurper ever occupied our White House.
Good.
Trump is in control here, no doubt.
I think all outgoing and incoming presidents talk one ramps down in this case we hope and another ramps up which I am sure of
Between Trump and Obama, who has the weaker character?
Answer: Obama.
I am not worried at all by this. Gotta stroke the narcissist in the white house. Trump knows what he is doing.
By making nice with Obama ahead of inauguration, Trump may be able to prevent or ameliorate any efforts at sabotage by Obama.
Very smart.
I have a hard time supporting someone who is willing to talk to Obama about anything.
I trust Trump, but I also realize he’s not infallible.
I also trust Conway and Bannon—though of the two, we of course only get to hear Conway speak.

Obama doesn't talk to anyone; he lectures them. He is an arrogant, narcissistic POS. There is no reason on earth for Trump to attempt to discuss anything with him. Not one. What is there to gain by talking with Obama other than learning to do the exact opposite of whatever he says.
I agree.
I am not really that worried about Barry talking Trump into something he shouldn’t be talked into.
Better a good relationship at the passing of the baton than a bad one. Just so long as Trump remains true to those who “brung him”.
Hopefully, Trump is telling Obama that every single regulation and EO enacted since the election will be reversed the day after Trump is sworn in.
This also drives a further wedge between the Obama and Clinton camps. Obama invited Trump to the White House and hasn’t fought the transition team. This is a lot of leverage for Trump against a Hillary steal.
Another way to think of it:
Is Obama’s belief in Marxism stronger than Trump’s belief in a great America?
I trust Trump, but I also realize hes not infallible.

That’s why Reagan famously said “Trust but verify”. I supported Trump but its too early to put a lot of trust in him since he hasn’t done anything yet. He may turn out to be a great president. But then again, maybe he won’t and we’ll be disappointed. We’ll just have to wait and see.
