My speculation. Trump and Hillary reached some sort of accommodation just following the election. He agreed not to prosecute her is she agreed to accept the election results. She has reneged. The deal is void.
I agree. His pivot was suspicious and I assumed some agreement had been reached. There were rumblings prior to the 60 minutes interview that Chelsea had reached out through Ivanka to plead with Trump to not go after her parents...then we got the ‘they’re good people I don’t want to hurt them’ nonsense. Now? Trump does not suffer fools nor does he take a doublecross laying down. I get the feeling his anger has reached nuclear with this nonsense.
Good point but I could see such a deal coming from a Jeb Bush-not a Trump. He plays hardball.
