It is the lighthearted banter that can make a marriage fun. In our early days , ours could be classified as “male logic vs. raw feminine emotion”.
Now we just have silly fun. You and your wife sound like you had that connection-one that is a blessing and comic relief.
That we did. I learned early never to confront her in the kitchen ... Sicilians tend to speak with their hands, especially when it involves cutlery :o)
Eleven years this month. Raised two amazing kids. Sure miss her.
My wife and I always joke about adopting because after thirty years we needed an infusion of new material.
