Made a similar comment on another thread about his overuse of adjectives, adverbs, and adverbial phrases. He needs a strong-willed communications director to edit his statements into simple - and more powerful - declarative sentences.

Yet, as is, so much better than the flaccid, insipid statement Obama released.

So you also are a proponent of the ridiculous stripping of our language of magnificent words in order to make what YOU consider more powerful “declarative” sentences. Do you take Hemingway and the Chicago Manuel of Style to bed with you like some take a Teddy Bear? Trump’s way of speaking is his own. Americans heard him and were not turned off as you seem to imply. Get off your editorial kick and listen to what Trump is saying. It is his God Given Right to speak as he wishes instead of being subjected to the “perfectionism” of others. Adjectives and adverbs add color, nuance, and deeper meaning to basic words. Guess you also like short sentences as are found in children’s books.
