In the first clip, Stein blinks at least 65 times and in the second one she blinks at least 56 times.

I watched a couple of segments of one of her earlier speeches and there was no excessive blinking whatsoever.

I have never watched videos of Stein speaking before so have nothing to compare those videos to, but I have to agree with you that there is some over-the-top, excessive blinking going on. I am not sure what that means in this case, but I have read that excessive blinking outside of medical causes is an indication of stress and anxiety.
