Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. is scheduled to meet Monday in New York with President-elect Donald Trump, according to news reports quoting a Trump aide.
Clarke, who runs as a Democrat, was a high-profile surrogate for Trump during the campaign. Clarke has been mentioned as a potential Trump appointee to head the Department of Homeland Security.
When asked earlier this month if he expected a role in the Trump White House, Clarke told national syndicated radio host Joe Pags: "I don't expect anything, I don't have an entitlement mentality. I told Donald Trump I wanted to help him, because I thought that this country needed his leadership. That being said, if the president asks you to serve, you step up to fulfill that duty. So if he feels that I can help him and he calls on me, sure I'll accept it, but I'm not expecting anything."
In his upcoming memoir, Clarke has called for an overhaul of the nation's homeland security program, writing that American citizens suspected of being terrorists should be treated as "enemy combatants" who can be questioned without an attorney, arrested by authorities and held indefinitely.
Their cases would then be handled by military tribunals, not the traditional court system.
"We are at war. Homegrown radicalization has the enemy inside our borders," Clarke writes. "Islamist radicalized Americans are not criminals; they are enemy combatants."
Clarke has also spoken out forcefully in favor of U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Trump's pick for attorney general.

Homegrown terrorists getting the enemy combatant treatment, no lawyers, no rights to 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination, holding in confinement "indefinitely," military tribunals (after weeding out of our military of LGBTQXYZ and Linda Graham types) sounds like we're well on the way to shutting some of this "Christmas or New Year's Day" terrorist threats by enemies living amongst us!

Man that was a great and classy answer. This guy has excelled because of his character and is a man of earned respect.
At this point, forget the Dem / Rep class because they don’t tow the party line anyway. Choose the best man for the job. Clarke has proven himself by his actions over many years. He would be a good addition to Trump’s staff in any role because of his integrity and work ethic.

The agency is also hobbled by an obscene amount of political correctness.
Sheriff Clarke can inject genuine common sense and street cop expertise.

It’s really no longer Democrat vs Republican, its Globalist (Establishment) vs. Nationalist (anti-establishment). When CNN said Trump should hire a Democrat - what they REALLY meant is he should hire a lib pro-abortion, globalist establishment type - contrary to everything he stands for.
I would have just one question for Sheriff Clarke: Were the recent Muslim men who were sent to prison a part of the group that murdered all those young American males in late 2014 ..??
It began on Thanksgiving Day, 2014; in and around the Great Lakes, young men started disappearing; when they were found, it was in a body of water. They were all in their early twenties, except for the one in Palm Desert, CA. They were all attending some special function; a party, a dinner with family or friends, etc. All the murders occurred within very close proximity to a radical Mosque.
Shortly after the murders, a group of several Muslims attempted to leave the USA to join ISIS; and one within the group was the person who recruited all of them.
Now that these men appear to have gone to prison, I would want to know the connection of these Muslims to the young men who were murdered.
