I was cheered to see that blacks voted for Trump in slightly higher numbers than Republicans normally attract, and more importantly, that many blacks simply didn’t vote for Hillary - they could have delivered PA and MI to her, and didn’t.

I think many blacks with private-sector jobs voted for Trump. The ones on welfare either voted for Hillary, or stayed home.

You’re probably right. There was just nothing to excite the welfare crowd; they’re still burying their dead and the Dems offered no hope of improvement.

While Obama was sold as a “post-racial” president (an illusion he himself quickly shattered), I believe Trump may be closer tot he real deal on that score. I honestly believe race is a non-issue to him, though I personally am disgusted that affirmative action has remained legal. It is a de facto statement by our government (and now many companies, under threat of lawsuits) that blacks, Hispanics, and women are genetically inferior to white & Asian men.
