Bill Mitchell-

Trump Sets Sights On Dismantling Disastrous Dodd-Frank Legislation.

Congressional leaders have already been put on notice that within days after Donald Trump is sworn in on January 20th, the new president expects Congress and the White House to move quickly to dismantle the Dodd-Frank boondoggle and bury it deep within the growing trash-bin that will be the Obama legacy.

You have no idea NIKK...

I live an interesting life, here is what some of my "gnomes" in the biz have told me on the down-low.

* Commercial Banking Wonk, hoped Romney would win, that was not the case, now we will have to deal w/ D-F, it will take 10 years is what he said.
* Financial Planner/Limited Offering kind of guy, the biz isn't fun anymore, check this box, paint by numbers, (compliance all the time and cover your butt with disclosure) and was afraid because of this it would attract no young talent out of schools.
* A higher up, > than a "Registered Principal" noted FINRA had access to all his financial transactions and called him on one involving spending related to family and their time together ( What the heck is this the Soviet Union? ) can't even have a private email for a hobby, has to use company email for everything.

This is good for us how? I get that we need righteous and moral people as fiduciaries but this nanny state does what to productivity and their cost of doing business? How does that help us the consumer?
