I remember those days. My grandmother bought a conference table from EF Hutton - seats 20 and every year it was full with 2 or 3 banquet tables overflowing. Sadly, all of those people are gone except me and 2 cousins. Now, I have my husband, father and mother and sister in law, and - thank God- my little daughter but I do miss those huge Holidays.

We still had a good feast - turkey, raw cranberry orange relish, gravy, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, crudites, green beans, 3 kinds of pie

When my paternal grandma was in her prime the Thanksgiving day menu would include turkey, a huge country ham, fried oysters, mac and cheese, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, coleslaw, green beans with ham, buttered corn, chocolate silk pie, pumpkin pie, cherry pie, and coconut cake. Never mind the homemade rolls and apple butter and lime pickles...I really miss those days and the giant family gatherings.

Best wishes to the Trump Train family and everyone aboard.
