My preference is already stated, which is for Romney to bow out. But I trust Trump in the end, and if he selects Romney, I am not going to go around with my nose out of joint.
There is a sliver of me that still thinks people can put aside personal animosity to serve the country, and do so with putting the country first.
I'm comfortable with the selections of Nikki Haley and Betsy DeVos. It is a big task to staff an executive administration, and Trump does not seem to think that exclusion of consideration of the best qualified choices for a particular post is the best path to follow.
I agree that at some level, understanding what elected Trump is an important qualification, so I would expect Trump to make sure the people chosen to serve understand what our priorities are and commitment to accomplishing them the chief goal.
