That's quite salty. Hopefully, quite a few other news sources will pick up on this.

Oh, we should be mailing something else to the Slimes that starts with “S” and ends with “T.”

I would say The Times was about the roughest of all."
B.S., The Washington Post made the election coverage from The New York Times look positively fair by comparison.

Please call it lefty tears, or scare-quote the word “liberal.”
The modern “liberal” movement is a quite thoroughgoing hoax. A more illiberal phenomenon, one would be hard pressed to identify.

Abbie Hoffman, in his book, Steal this Book, suggested mailing a frozen fish - timed to arrive on Saturday - to corporate mail rooms. Never tried it, although I was tempted on occasion.

I wonder if he ever considered we’d be contemplating using such tactics against his own fellow leftists once they got into power ?

I don’t like calling these folks “liberals”, either. The left hijacked the phrase which they’ve perverted into the opposite of what classic liberalism stands for, which was the ideology of the Founding Fathers. It’s not tolerant, it’s totalitarian intolerance. It’s not progressive or forward-thinking, it’s regressive, destructive, backwards and fails every time it’s tried. It’s not good, it’s evil.

I was hoping they would rub some on their wounds....

I’d be careful with this. Mailing unlabled “white powder” could be viewed as terrorism....should the Times decide to get nasty.
The envelopes should be clearly labled many times...both inside and out....with something like “salt for your crow.”

I can remember long ago mailing tea bags to Congressmen. It was noted, but nothing really changed.
This election, may actually bear fruit.
God Bless the US, again.

Salty? I thought salty meant naughty, as in “salty stories”.

I also like salt as a metaphor for both “rubbing salt in an open wound” and “salting the earth.”
One means torturing someone who’s injured — like the New York Times —and the other means the total destruction of one’s enemies.
