Fortunately I completed most of my schooling before there ever was a fedgov DOE.

My ‘hometown’ school district hasn’t changed much over the past 40 years.

Other than the employment register of the local school system has more than doubled.

The number of kiddos is roughly the same.

Oddly enough, the test scores have remained largely the same or have fallen.

And the school superintendent now lives in a half million dollar house and drives a $80K+ car.

Common Core no longer is federally funded. When it was funded, it was a pot of money. De Vos wanted the money for Charter Schools. It’s that simple. Her past shows she’s not about progressive indoctrination in public schools aka Common Core curriculum spending. She was about arguing that Charter Schools could hold their own against the leftist infested puvlic schools. Do your homework.

As for Jeb Bush, dumber than a box of rocks, he made his way to become a governor, so yeah, his *ss got kissed by many who I am sure were reluctant to do so.

I just find it hard to believe that she said she was against Common Core 40 minutes or so again but really is for Common Core. That doesn’t make sense.

Lots of states passed ‘anti common core’ initiatives. As it turns out they just renamed the same curriculum and still teach it.
