I’m fine with reparations... if in order to receive them, you and your family have return to Africa (or wherever you claim to have been taken as a slave from) and never come back.
Probably be cheaper than welfare.

The US Federal government has zero responsibility for slavery. No Federal law authorized or imposed it on anyone. The slave states are the ones responsible. So they are the ones which would owe reparations, if any valid claimants still live.

“Theres Nothing Un-American About Reparations”
Simple solution: Congress should pass a law placing a $10,000 “reparations surcharge” each semester on white college student tuitions. That will end the appetite for this kind of liberal garbage.

We've already been paying reparations in the form of taxes that pays for their food, medical care, housing, phones, etc...at least one day a week 52 days a year for as many years as we've worked. One other question - Rye, do you have black blood flowing through your veins?

If reparations were justified, why didn’t obama take it up? If reparations were the right thing to do, why didn’t Hillary run on it?
They know it’s total BS.

Absolutely. Every descendant of any of the slaves owes every descendant of any of the Union troops reparations...

I have an old cartoon from 1863 in which the aligorical Columbia strikes off the chains from a slave. The caption is..."Take thy freedom and be thankful, for it has cost me dear!"
How dear was the cost? Lady LIBERTY counts the cost in a different cartoon.
Reparations were paid in blood, lives, arms, legs, eyes, destroyed homes, destroyed families. WE OWE NOTHING.
To: kevcol
Already paid reparations. It’s called AFFIRMATIVE ACTION.

Yes, by all means - pay reparations to every Black person who was forcibly brought here from Africa as a slave, and ONLY to them, not to Black scammers and con artists with their greedy and dishonest hands out looking for an easy payday courtesy of Whites.

Got to keep the loonies on the path.

Uh, yeah...I'm sure someone will get right on that now.
To: kevcol
And she looks like she only deserves a 3/8 share of reparations at best.

Yes, there is. Americans don’t operate on lies, thievery, or blatant racism.
No one alive today was a slave or held slaves.
This is just another racist claim that blacks cannot live without white man’s money.
