On the morning before an annual celebration for the senior class at Loyola University Maryland, student leaders apologized for this years theme: Party in the USA.
As an organization, we want to extend our deepest apologies to those that were hurt by this theme and the negative impact it had on them, an email from the student government association to the Class of 2017 read. Although it was not our intention to create such a divisive climate, we understand that the impact of this decision is much greater than our initial intention.
Some students were shocked that a patriotic party could be considered divisive, and that an administrator had advised student leaders to reconsider it after the presidential election.
Emily Burke, a senior and president of the Loyola Republicans, said she was disappointed: I was upset to see that thats the standpoint the school was going to take that they felt they needed to apologize in some way for being proud to be an American. The theme was supposed to be unifying, and it should have been.

Christendom.
Ave Maria.
Much beyond that is basically child abuse.
To liberal snowflakes, America’s existence is divisive.
Well, then lets throw a Palau, New Guinea themed party and we can all run around in grass skirts and bones in our noses. Would that be OK?
This is why I’ve been saying that we don’t need to use the term nationalism; the left is going to willingly cede patriotism to us. We’d be idiotic not to take it and run with it. We are not white nationalists, or nationalists, or conservatives, or libertarians, or populists, or anything else; we’re patriots! [they can fill in the blanks themselves as to what that makes those who oppose us]
Maybe Franciscan University of Steubenville.
There’s at least one college in the People’s democratic Collective of Maryland that doesn’t follow this nonsense. My son attends it. It’s very small and private. Mainly engineering. I’m not broadcasting the name of the school cause I want it to be my secret. PM me if you want in on it.
According to my son, most students voted Trump. Clinton supporters, in his words were disappointed but not sad.
No one protested, nor did they go to their safe spaces and get the crayons and puppies out. They went to class and continued their education.
As a parent, I’d be PO’d beyond belief if a school that was cashing my checks engaged in this kind of crap. Probably enough to stop sending money.
My college recently opened The Jim Crow Museum of Racist Memorabilia. Coincidentally, at the exact same time, any donations from me to the Alumni Association stopped. I’m not sure why.
Liberty.
Grove College, PA.
I hear Hillsdale requires command of the US Constitution in order to graduate. What a concept.
They just stay here and whine.
Maybe. Just maybe. Likewise, maybe Thomas Aquinas College and Wyoming Catholic College.
But the choices are VERY limited.
I sent my kid overseas to go to college so as not to get the garbage brainwashing that is virtually universal here.
No, that’s cultural appropriation.
We’re moving about 40 miles away in the next year and I’m going to seek a parish where they have 24/7 adoration. They have that at Franciscan University. In a community of college students. When I was there there were about 10 people in the chapel. They also have Scott Hahn in residence. I don’t know much else about it. Oh, and Fr. Michael Gaitley went there for his undergraduate.
Here's a link to their Annual Ronald Reagan Lecture Series!
Throw in College of the Ozarks - and least the were the last time I passed by.
Reminds me of this:
You can fly the ISIS flag but the Swedish flag is banned...in Sweden. That’s liberalism
Time to expose who the administrators are who tried to stop this party.
Names please and alumni letters to the university promising never to donate to the university again unless these leftist creeps are fired.
perhaps they should move their “schools” outside the usa.
Maryland "Freak State" PING!
And our Olympic athletes should not wear USA themed uniforms or carry out flag when marching with all the other athletes, who happen to be wearing national-themed uniforms and waving their flags....
