I think being on the receiving end of their crap made him aware of just how biased and partisan the US Media has become. They made his job of winning the election far harder. In the cases of George HW Bush, John McCain, and Mitt Romney, the bias of the media made their elections impossible.

Let us face the truth. The media flipped all three of those elections.

Agree on Bush, potentially agree with Romney (though I bet there was a lot of fraud there), agree about Dole (that guy couldn’t win a participation trophy much less an election, especially up against Slick). Not too sure about McStain, though. His hiatus in campaigning, general undesirability, first “black” candidate, Obama had no record to have to explain plus came off reasonably non-fanatical, I’m not sure 08 was winnable, especially with Juan “Lettuce” McAisleReachingBackStabbingRINO as the nominee.
