Yes, that worked out so well in the past. Great idea... /s

You don’t stick our base of naval operations that far from the mainland.

If you would think ahead a bit, every argument you make about California goes double for Hawaii.

Oregon and Washington are in the same shape.

When you start slicing off states, this is what happens in short order.

You have no more West Coast or Pacific fleet.

They can secede right now - just walk across the border into Mexico or Canada.

Gutless blowhards.

You are from Californication. ‘nuff said. LOL. I hope they succeed in seceding.

So you would love to see the United States harmed.

I’ve got it.

I think California should be split into two states right along the San Andreas fault line. East California and West California.

Who said it wouldn’t be viable? If they want a standard of living on a par with Nicaragua, they could be very viable.

If Cali wants to go into rebellion, so be it. There is no need to make it pleasant for them.

You insult the intelligence and the sensibilities of rational thinking people. Go away. Get a clue.

Apparently what the CalExit kids haven’t considered is Mexico has first dibs on any post-U.S. California. The Mexicans have long stated their intention to regain California and an attempt at independence will be their moment to make good on that goal.

California may in time break away from the U.S., but those people are engaging in fantasy if they think they’ll be an independent state.

40 million kooks and 55 electoral votes for socialists gone! A fair deal.

No federal dollars, closed borders, electricity shut off, marines from Pendleton arresting mayors, governor, and legislature at 00:01 am on day of session. The interstates will also be closed since they are federal.

Well said, and that’s what I believe this is about. Sad to see so many want to give part of our country to Mexico.

Right now we are trying to support Trump to increase the U.S. GDP in order to increase tax revenues and pay down the debt.

You brilliant response is the toss overboard over 13% of the U.S. GDP Yep, that right brain-trust, Leftists pay taxes too.

Our troops go overseas to defend and promote a secure nation, and you sit at home on a keyboard thinking up ways to betray those efforts.

I’m sure the 13% of the military personnel that come from California appreciate your childish mindset.

California’s economy has rebounded faster than the nation at large. In 2012, it had the 10th largest global GDP. In 2015 it had the 6th largest.
