Seems like Texas is determined to self-destruct before I have the opportunity to move there as intended...

As one who grew up in Castro Valley, feel free to join us in Texas. The suburbs are great places to live, and most are extremely conservative.

I'm entering my 20th year of living in North Irving, no sign of "self-destruction" here. Pay no heed to the large cities, the suburbs are where it's at.
