The land this is taking place on was promised to the tribe in 1851 (Treaty of Fort Laramie).
But the federal government lied to them about that one and it isn’t their land technically anymore.
I’m not sure what the solution to the lie is, but its their land even if now has ‘private owners’ occupying it in 2016.
They don’t have a case. This isn’t about any treaty. It isn’t about water. It isn’t even about oil. It’s out of state agitators raising hell in our state. I hope like hell terror rains down on those fucking assholes.
