The president of the college says that by getting rid of the flag the school will be able to focus on other issues like halting Islamophobia and promoting gay rights.

Homosexuals have the same rights as anyone else. Males may marry any female who will have them, and females any male.

A phobia is an unwarranted or unfounded fear. It is neither unfounded nor unwarranted to fear a socio-political system masquerading as a religion which requires that you be enslaved or killed if you decline to convert. Therefore Islamophobia does not exist.

I just emailed the college president (Jonathan Lash, PRESIDENT@HAMPSHIRE.EDU) with the comments from post 59 about homosexual rights and Islamophobia. Civilly and politely, may I add; name calling doesn’t help.
