I understand they’re already planning the movie.

This girl is a true sociopath without a shred of remorse or shame. Frightening she was able to con so many “smart” people.

The reporter on this has been phenomenal.

What shocks me is how this crazy case sent a literal gestapo after the whistle-blower and how other employees were intimidated and harassed almost nonstop. Spying, forbidding employees to talk to each other at work, and basically has done so many criminal things that I think her lawyer knows that she will not be able to be defended. There is no way of defending all these horrible things she’s done.

The man is old and probably couldn’t handle the intimidation with the stamina that the younger grandson had. Elderly folk are not all able to muster the physical strength and I am certain that sociopath did make physical threats against him and his family. So I don’t judge. The young have a lot less to lose personally and I hope that after this mess is over, that the grandson and grandfather reconcile.

“It hasn’t yet ended, but it looks like the only good thing that will come out of this is that this young, cruel Megalomaniac will finally get HERS”

At long last and I look forward to that crazy snowflake getting incarcerated preferably for the rest of her life.

It was a good idea, but the whole thing was impractical and never should have been able to get off the ground without years of having tests and other refinements done. Instead she was hyped as the second coming and allowed/enabled to do criminal acts and push people around.

George Shultz is not just elderly: he’s freepin’ ancient. It’s unfortunate that he got mixed up in something so far out of his competence, even when he was fully competent.

On the other hand, if his grandson hadn’t gone to the authorities, maybe nobody would have, and the distribution of false blood-test information would have continued.

I think that as an elderly man, his usual keenness of insight wasn’t there and so basically, he couldn’t see this for what it was. I am certain that with lawyers hiding up in the top floor bedroom and other manipulations, there was no room for him to go at his age. I think he might have gotten death threats.

It could be anything, honestly. I think he was drawn into what sounded like a good idea, but didn’t have the capacity to evaluate it as it went on. He’s 95, for heaven’s sake.

I think that would put any attorney in a bad place. The lawyer can’t help the client if the client is lying even to them.

Exactly! He isn’t some spry young man who could take a stand, he is WAY too old to outfox a younger, wealthier sociopath and it’s not like he’s able to even think straight, much less do what his grandson did.

His grandson studied biology and then actually worked in the company and saw what was happening. Old Mr. Shultz just wasn’t there on the spot. He was drawn in because he liked the idea, but he didn’t have any expertise to contribute: just his name and connections ... and being older than the hills, a limited capacity to evaluate what was going on.

Once again, the most important question in any Elizabeth Holmes thread is: Would Laz hit it?

This is EXTREMELY bad news for both President Trump and James Mattis. All of these clueless old fools on the Theranos board were completely conned by a pretty little fast talking blonde sociopath named Elizabeth Holmes.

There’s no way anybody on the board of that fraudulent corporation should be let ANYWHERE near the Trump Administration, much less considered for a cabinet position like DoD.

I REALLY hope the transition team is doing due diligence and careful vetting of some of these characters they’re looking at, or President Trump will end up with A LOT of credibility-destroying egg on his face during Congressional hearings for their appointments.

Learning that James Mattis is on the board of Theranos, which is basically a latter-day Enron, is EXTREMELY disheartening.

Please, Please, Please SOMEONE get this information to Trump’s transition team:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Theranos++James+Mattis&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

http://www.fiercebiotech.com/medical-devices/theranos-asked-military-general-for-help-tamping-down-misinformation-from-dod

http://www.wsj.com/articles/theranos-and-david-boies-cut-legal-ties-1479514351

http://www.wsj.com/articles/theranos-whistleblower-shook-the-companyand-his-family-1479335963

https://www.google.com/search?q=theranos+wall+street+journal&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

President Trump is going to be horrifically embarrassed if he proceeds with trying to get James Mattis confirmed as Sec DoD.

Elizabeth Holmes is a sociopath of the worst kind and Mattis has shown himself to be a gullible fool in this matter, so how in the hell can be intelligently oversea our nation’s military?

Well, if you are guilty and have no defense, not the worst strategy.

Exactly! The younger guy had the advantage of being on-site and being able to see things for what they are while his semi-retired grandfather was unable and unequipped to basically handle the situation. I hate how the grandfather is being painted as some kind of collaborator.

I agree; Trump had better pay attention to his back and who is on his staff.

I do think however that since a lot of powerful people have been ripped off and now she has a lot of powerful people angry at her. I am certain that she’s going to end up in prison if she’s lucky and dead if she isn’t. The last thing anyone wants is the powerful angry at them for a deal gone wrong.
