In 2007, Donald Trump and the PB town council reached a truce after a six-month war over the giant (25 X50) American flag he flies over Mar-a-Lago. He agreed to lower it from 80’ to 70’ (the reg. was 42’.) They had been fining him at a rate of $1,250 a day and he had counter-sued with a $25 million lawsuit arguing its ordinances regulating flagpoles violate the U.S. Constitution and his civil rights by denying free speech and expression.
It looks like Trump still had his way since the 10-foot-shorter flagpole is rising from a substantial mound that’s several feet higher than the rest of Mar-a-Lago. He’s like a honey badger- tenacious and relentless, refusing to slow down.
I wonder how the town council feels now about that American flag flying over President-elect Trump’s Winter White House -Mar-a-Lago!
Just like the hypocritical leftists who attack others and try to shut down their speech in the name of “tolerance,” you have acted like a dishonest bully numerous times on this thread in the name of stopping theoretical bullying that you think this discussion contributes to. You’ve imagined that you are defending someone who isn’t part of this thread and who won’t be affected by us at all and that that gives you the right to treat people you are actually interacting with any way you choose.
You seem incapable of having an honest debate. By attacking, slandering, lying and being deceptive about other posters and what they have written, you almost force them to respond, even if just to correct your distortions. I absolutely didn’t want to get into an argument about Barron. My goal was never to “convince many people that [I’m] correct” on this (I would have systematically laid out my evidence and sources if I had, but I do not want that). I merely wanted to let time4good, when he was under a barrage of unfair attacks and made-up accusations, know that he wasn’t alone in what he noticed and that I sympathized with him. I only responded to you in the first place because I saw so many examples already of your unfairness, untruthfulness, and belligerence, and your arguments about Asperger’s/autism contained so much incorrect information, it was too hard to refrain from correcting the record, such as with this:

The diagnoses of Asperger’s (which was actually mentioned by time4good in his first post) and high-functioning autism were officially merged about three years ago and both are on the autism spectrum. Why continue to comment on something you’ve repeatedly shown you know nothing about? And I’ve already mentioned, and even given a brief example with an article, that my observations were hardly just based on a video on stage. Are you even capable of honesty when you disagree with others? Or must you constantly make up fake arguments to falsely attack others over?
I am done with this thread. Respond again if you wish, but I won’t be reading it. I only stayed around to correct your non-stop stream of misrepresentations. I can only hope that one day you drop the moral preening and judgmentalism long enough to honestly reflect on how you interact with others.

You’re correct. It was primarily meant for the other poster who is determined to turn this into a cyber-psychological diagnostic thread.
We who support the Trumps have confidence that they know their family and children best and will move into the WH at the most appropriate time.
It is unfortunate that the Oval Office will be under massive renovations for six months. But perhaps it’s better that our next president moves into a more safe and secured completely de-bugged fresh new office.
Can you think of a location that deserves such problems more richly?

For once in their lives they had an opportunity to vote for one of their own.
They could have supported a native New Yorker whose been exceptionally great and generous to his city.
They could have supported the man that’s improved their city’s skyline with gorgeous architecture and increased their prosperity.
They could have supported the employer who has provided thousands of jobs for decades and treated his people fairly.
They could have supported the guy that gave the million bucks to fund the Vietnam Memorial Wall in NYC and funded the Vets parade when the city was broke and had cancelled the event.
They could have supported the guy who saved the historic location and rebuilt Wollman Ice Rink in Central Park.
Trump has done a great deal for the city of New York and they returned the favor by voting for a worn out carpet -bagging lying criminal from Arkansas.
They deserve to be inconvenienced all day long and sit in their crowded busses and taxis regretting how they voted for a loser.
Well, when you put it that way... LOL. The NYers deserve to hurt “big league”.
