I’m trying really hard to keep my hopes in check.

He is the perfect man for this position at this time in our history.

I have heard that he is not eligible, and have also heard there can be a waiver.

I don’t see it in the code, but I doubt they would go through the hassle of interviewing him if it weren’t possible, so I am leaning towards the possibility that a waiver may be obtained in some fashion.

I can recommend an excellent book where some of these quotes may be found in their full context: No True Glory" by Bing West. GREAT book.

He can be given a waiver. It’s already being researched on Capitol Hill:)

Could you see him as SecDef?

With him, Flynn, Trump, Pence (and if possible, Rudy as SoS) at the the helm, I get the feeling ISIS is not long for this world.

“No war is over until the enemy says it’s over. We may think it over, we may declare it over, but in fact, the enemy gets a vote

“Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.”

“I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all”

Love it!

I read a book recently called "Neptune's Inferno" about the naval battles around Guadalcanal, and there was a story about a marine unit that was surrounded near the shore, and they wanted to be extracted. A destroyer that had been providing fire support sent a boat in to pick them up, and one of them was Chesty Puller.

There was a lot of friction between the Navy and the Marines at that time because many Marines felt the Navy had abandoned them.

The Marines came to forgive the Navy, more less, when the light surface forces (destroyers and the new anti-aircraft cruisers, bristling with 5″ rapid-firing guns) showed a gleeful willingness to plow up great swathes of Japanese-bearing tropical jungle. They’d literally hose out corridors through the undergrowth with their gunfire. No less than Lt. Col. Lewis D. “Chesty” Puller expressed his gratitude after having observed the fun from the ship that had saved him and his team. I loved the destroyer captain's reaction when, just prior to going back ashore, Puller observed to the captain that he, Puller, wouldn’t have captain’s job for anything. The captain was amazed; surely wouldn’t he prefer to have a shower and a bed when the day’s work was done? Puller asked him when he got hit, where was he, and then pointed out, “When I get hit, I know where I am.”

I love that last quote (“I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you fuck with me, I’ll kill you all”) Apparently, it was a big meeting with a bunch of important Sheiks, many of whom he could not discern whose side exactly they were on. So he was sticking his neck out.

Congress can’t waive the law.

Please tell him from my Marine son and his Marine pals that we need him for the country, and the Marine Corps. To stop all this PC nonsense..
Also while my son was at Parris island he and others thought it was just plain stupid and took time away from more important lessons, and that was this sensitive training classes, positive action, and sexual harassment classes.
Every recruit there thought it was plain stupid.

Also they are not allowed to sleep outside during boot camp due to the Mothers of America complaining about it.

Also women do not belong in combat units as my son found out during his stay at Camp geiger doing MCT. It was all drama and flirting between half the guys and nearly all the girls, who I might add could not carry their equipment.

.

and the Army . That freak called Fanning.

All these people were put in place due to them being homosexuals, and social justice fairies.
