They are not all in the Middle East. Perhaps it is time to send them back. They do not belong here or in Europe. Other nations can make their own decisions.
Containment can have temporary uses but it is not a long term strategy. These lunatics have been running wild long enough and then some. The Middle East is the problem. If they give the Chinese grief, the Chinese will terminate them in China. Likewise India, our ally, just itching to get it on with Pakistan which also should not have nukes and sheltered Osama bin Laden, etc.
The population decline in the West is curable by a determined policy to increase birthrates and a determination to return from materialism run amok to having large families, banning abortion, discouraging birth control methods, gearing tax policy to reward large families, etc.

As to what is doable, you apparently would be quite surprised as to what even one Ohio Class submarine can do, much less a fleet of them.

Your plan is not viable. To destroy Muslims with missiles from submarines we’d need a huge fleet of them across most of the planet (see number of Muslims in Malaysia above)
Plus we’d have to be willing to accept astronomical collateral damage of non muslims being wiped out. Who (besides yourself) would be willing to carry out death on such a scale?
To accomplish your ‘extinct’ plan it would have to a simultaneous attack all over the planet because if it was piecemeal, other countries would take out our subs to prevent the task being completed. We don’t have the naval assets to accomplish such a task.
Other nations would not agree with YOUR PLAN and they have nukes. Once they got wind of YOUR PLAN they would use them to stop the mass extermination you propose. I doubt even our Western allies, many of which have nukes would go along with such a plan. So we’d have one go at it ... alone, worldwide, simultaneously ... and as I said, we don’t have the military assets to pull off such a mass extermination.
Your plan is not logical, practicable or feasible ... even if it were moral, which it is not. It’s pure emotional fantasizing.
Your new stance of “make a start at it” would not accomplish making Muslims “extinct” which was your original proposal. We’d never be able to finish YOUR PLAN to make Muslims extinct after the first go round. The rest of the planet would become allies to stop us.
How would you get even our own military on board with such a ludicrous and impossible proposal? Even if they were nutty enough to try such a thing, they are not suicidal.
